CELTA
- July 2004 cohort |
A word of explanation... The CELTA--or Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults delivered by the University of Cambridge, UK--is an intensive training program lasting a solid month and training innocent lambs in the arcane art of ESL (English as a Second Language) and its unforgiving skills, of which there are many. This website, an indendendent and informal forum really, is a tool in the hands of those--fortunate souls!--who made it through the July 2004 session at LSC Toronto in one piece. The group as a whole got along quite well really and with this website we hope to keep in touch from time to time and communicate whatever big or small happens in our lives... |
Instructions: Roll your mouse over the picture below and click through when the hyperlink hand pops up to get open an update on everyone along with pictures and contact information. All right. Kyung-deok, what are you doing now? Do you do it in pairs? Oh, I forgot something. Whenever there is a picture on the screen, casually move the mouse pointer into it and leave it there to show short blurbs on the wheres, whos, and whens--yes! Even the one below. Try it for practice. Casually, Jimmy? What it means? Well, let me think... When you attend English classes at LSC, for example, do you do it casually or seriously? Casually, right. You got it! OK, go! You've got 30 seconds! |
